During this tour, you will inspect the history and the development of Dubrovnik town since the 7th century till today.
After the tour you will know who and when built the city walls of this beautiful town, where the main churches and monuments are, who lived in Dubrovnik and how is the economy today.

From the very beginning the story of the Franciscans, how and where they arrived to our area and what they did in Dubrovnik is very important. In their museum we can see rests of an old pharmacy dated from 1317. The small but beautiful and unique cloister is a must see as well as the glorious Franciscan church of "Small brothers".

After a walk over Stradun, the longest and widest street of the old town, we arrive to the center of this city and the palaces you can still visit.
Sponsa palace is a small building that tells us the story of buidling, damages and rebuilding the old Ragusa again and again. Different architecture styls can be recognised already from outside.

The next town center is surrounden by two massive buildings - the main church - The 'Assumtion 'Cathedral and the Rector`s palace, both built already in the 12th century and rebuilt several times till today.

The cathedral can be recognised as the main center of our religion and the Rector`s palace the center of justice and conventions.

I will be at your disposal also after the tour, to provide answers to your questions and give you tips about how to spend your time in Dubrovnik the best way.
